Dennis Sylvester Hanyzewski

SOUTH BEND - Dennis S. Hanyzewski, 74, of South Greenview Avenue, died at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Hanyzewski retired from Wheel Horse Products. He was born Dec. 20, 1916, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.
On Feb. 3, 1951, in South Bend, he married Clara Radecki. She died in 1974. He is survived by a daughter, Kathy Bella of South Bend; a son, Don J. of South Bend; six grandchildren; a sister, Clara Ridenour of South Bend; and a brother, Sylvester T. of South Bend.
He was a World War II veteran and a member of American Legion Pulaski Post 357.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be at 7 p.m.
