Mildred I. (Troeger) Fogle

SOUTH BEND - Mildred I. Fogle, 81, of Squire Drive, died at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital Mrs.

Fogie was a former employee of Wilson Brothers, Sunnymede Cleaners for 25 years, and retired in 1986 from Ziker Cleaners after 10 years of service. She was born Jan. 1, 1911, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

On July 8, 1935, in South Bend, as Mildred Troeger, she married Earl B. Fogle. He died March 20, 1988.

She is survived by three daughters, Shirley J. Rusthoven and Dorothy A. Peterson, both of South Bend, and Beverly J. Ryan of Indianapolis; a son, Richard E. of South Bend; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carmen Mitchell of South Bend and Gladys McClelland of Rolling Prairie; and a brother, Richard L. Troeger of South Bend.

She was a member of Evangel Heights United Methodist Church and communion steward, and member of Lydia Circle of United Methodist Women.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Evangel Heights United Methodist Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road.
