Durwood R. Meyers

Durwood R. Meyers, 77, of 1013 E. Irvington Ave., died shortly after midnight Saturday morning after a 10-month illness. He was born July 6,1909, in South Bend and lived here all his life.

On Jan. 21, 1932, in South Bend, he married Roberta J. Ludlum, who survives with a daughter, Nancy LaBelle of Danville, Ill.; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St., where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Mr. Meyers was the owner since 1949 of the Dana-Cook Co. He also was a member of the Odd Fellows
