Florence M (Labadie) Fidler

March 20, 1910 - Nov. 14, 1990

SOUTH BEND - Florence M. Fidler; 80, of Riverside Drive, died at 5 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Care Center-Lombardy. Mrs. Fidler retired from Indiana Bell Telephone Co. She was born March 20, 1910, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On Sept. 9, 1990, in South Bend, as Florence Labadie, she married Clifford L. Fidler Sr. He died Sept. 9, 1972.

She is survived by two sons, Clifford L. Jr. and Tighe, both of South Bend; four grandchildren; and a sister, Frances J. Billings of South Bend.

She was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation will take place at Michiana Crematory, with burial at Riverview Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Welsheimer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
