Frances  K. (Dietrich) Stevenson

Frances K. Stevenson, 87, of Indiana Avenue, South Bend, Ind., died at 11:05 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, in the Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on June 4, 1910, in South Bend, and had lived here all of her life.

On Feb. 1, 1930, in South Bend, as Frances Dietrich, she married John E. Stevenson, who died in 1950.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Frances Frey of South Bend and Shirley May Ulbricht of Bellingham, Wash.; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and by two great-great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.

In 1974 Frances retired from General Electric where she was a secretary. Frances was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church for over 55 years and was a member of the Mary Martha Friendship Circle.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday in the Grace United Methodist Church. Private interment services will follow in Riverview Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church. The Forest G. Hay Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
