Josephine M.(Busezky) Jacobs, 94, of Sunnymede Avenue, South Bend, died Thursday morning in her home. Josephine was employed as a proof reader for the South Bend Tribune for 23 years.
She was born Aug.12, 1910, in South Bend, to Stefan and Paula (Horvath) Busezky, who preceded her in death along with her husband, Eugene F., who she married on July 25, 1986; a sister, Elma McClure; and a brother-in-law, Rev. Joseph A.Jacobs, also preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ann Jacobs of South Bend;a brother-in-law, Robert McClure of South Bend; five nieces and nephews, Jack McCarthy, Joseph Richard and Patricia VanRie, all of Mishawaka, Rosemary Lindahl of South Bend, Beth Ann Marquardt of Decatur; and several great- and great-great-nieces and nephews
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m.Monday, Dec.13, in St.Anthony de Padua Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Mishawaka. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m.until services Monday in the church. Josephine graduated from South Bend Central High School and was a member of St.Anthony parish where memorials may be made. The HICKEY Funeral Homes, 3516 E.Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements
