Helen M. Nowak, 74, of 132 N. 29th St., died a at 5:30 a.m. Thursday at Healthwin Hospital and Nursing Center.
Miss Nowak was born Sept. 20, 1910, in South Bend and lived here all of her life. Surviving are three sisters, Beatrice Filley and Catherine Pletcher, both of Niles, and Gertrude Ireland of Skokie, Ill.; and a brother, Edward J. Nowak of South Bend.
Burial was scheduled for 2 p.m. today in Highland Cemetery. A memorial Mass will be conducted later at St. Patrick Catholic Church, to which memorial contributions may be made. Guisinger Colonial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
