Services for Arthur E. Jordan, 73, of 215 Devonshire Drive, who died at 7 p.m. Friday at home after a sudden illness, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Rev. Charles Felton, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, Ironwood and Jefferson.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lutheran Hour or the Bethesda Lutheran Home in Watertown, Wis.

Jordan was born on July 10, 1910, in South Bend and was a lifetime resident. He was a self-employed distributor of construction tractors and machinery.

On Jan. 5, 1935, he married Evelyn A. Rohwedder, who died in 1978.

Survivors include three sons, Michael of Glen Ellyn, Ill., William of Madison, Wis., and John of Spanish Fort, Utah.; eight grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Bertha McAlear of Peoria, Ill.; and two brothers, Herbert of Parker, Colo., and Edgar of Presque Isle, Mich.

He was a World War II Navy veteran and past officer of St. Paul's Lutheran Church
