Ruth E. (Jones) Warstler

SOUTH BEND - Ruth E. Warstler, 84, of Meridian Nursing Center-River Park, formerly of Club Drive, died at 7:40 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mrs. Warstler was born Oct. 27, 1911, in New Castle, Pa., and lived in South Bend most of her life.

On Dec. 8, 1929, in South Bend, as Ruth E. Jones, she married Ladore Warstler. He died Dec. 21, 1993.

She is survived by a son, Robert of South Bend; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

She was a member of Order of Eastern Star, Mishawaka, past worthy high priestess for White Shrine, and member of First Christian Church.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Drive. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home
