George A. Goepfrich

SOUTH BEND George A. Goepfrich, 82, of Venice, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died Saturday in Pinebrook Place Healthcare Center, Venice.

Mr. Goepfrich retired as director and vice president of Skinner Valve Co., New Britain, Conn. He was born Dec. 14, 1910, in South Bend and moved to New Britain in 1973. He was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.

He is survived by wife, Gertrude Goepfrich of Venice; a daughter, Carol Kelly of New Britain; a son, George M. of Minneapolis; eight grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Epiphany Cathedral, Venice. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today in Ewing Funeral Home, Venice.
