Margaret A. (Davis) Bolinger
Oct. 4, 1910-Oct. 22, 1990 SOUTH BEND - Margaret A. Bolinger, 80, of 1827 E. Farnsworth Drive, died at 1:30 a.m. Monday at Memorial Hospital. She retired from Culligan Water Conditioning Co., where she had been a bookkeeper. Mrs. Bolinger was born Oct. 4, 1910, in Montgomery County, Ind., and lived most of her life in the South Bend area.
On Aug. 16, 1928, in Rochester, as Margaret Davis, she married LaVerne K. Bolinger. He survives, along with a daughter, Bonnie E. Gerard of Arlington, Texas; a son, Corbin E. of Dallas; four grandchildren; a sister, Eva K. Lee of Chicago; a stepsister, Elizabeth Van Horn of Fort Wayne; and a stepbrother, Eber Smith of South Bend.
A son, Donald M. died in 1947.
She was a 56-year member of Epworth Memorial United Methodist Church and a member of the United Methodist Women and St. Joseph Chapter No. 569, Order of Eastern Star.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Welsheimer Funeral home, 521 N. William St., and from noon until services Wednesday at the church.
