SOUTH BEND - Services for Glenn Apt, 80, of Punta Gorda, Fla., formerly of South Bend and Niles, who died in his home Sunday, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.

Mr. Apt. retired in 1975 from Indiana Michigan Electric Co., Buchanan, as a home electric heating representative. He was born June 25, 1910, in Marion, Ind., and lived in the Michiana area most of his life. In 1900, in. Glenn Apt. Indianapolis, he married Beulah Dean, who died in 1986. He is survived by three sisters, Edna Baker of Niles, Maxine Kise of Albuquerque, N.M., and Juanita J. Wertz of Sanford, N.C.; and three brothers, Lawrence E. and Donald E., both of South Bend, and Dean F. of Rio Rancho, N.M.; 16 nieces; and eight nephews.

He was a veteran of World War II and member of Masonic Lodge 204 and Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend
