Francis Patrick Turnock

Francis Patrick Turnock, 69, of Miami, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died at 7 a.m. Thursday in Coral Reef General Hospital, Miami, following an unexpected illness. He retired in 1978 from the House of Realty. He. born on June 7, 1910, in South Bend, and lived here most of his life.

On Feb. 1, 1932, in South Bend, he married Fredrica C. Ettl. She survives along with a daughter, Mrs. R. David (Karen) Sheehan Jr. of Tulsa, Okla.; a son, Dennis Patrick of Miami; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Kaczmerek of Indianapolis, and Miss Marjorie M. Turnock of South Bend, and four brothers, William J. of South Bend, James J. of Boca Raton, Fla., Edward J. of El Centro, Calif., and Bernard J. of South Bend.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the McGann Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 4 p.m.

He was a former member of St. Matthew Cathedral, the Knights of Columbus, the Board of Realtors and Brokers, the South Bend Country Club and the Palmetto Golf Club, Miami. He was a one-time South Bend Men's Senior Golf Champion
