Jack A. Rock, 90, of Moss Road, South Bend, Ind., passed away at noon on Saturday, Oct. 28, in Fountainview Place, Mishawaka, Ind 

Jack was born on Dec. 9, 1909, in Wichita, Kan., to Emerson Albert and Eva Miriam (Hodgkins) Rock, who both have preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Eunice Harrington, Frances Harrington and Osee Barlow.

On May 9, 1929, in Niles, Mich., Jack married Elsie M. White, who passed away on Oct. 29, 1998,

Jack is survived by ten nieces and nephews.

Jack retired as a printer, and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, serving in the Philippines. He was a member of Legion #161 in Mishawaka.

Services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of services. Entombment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, South Bend. Rev. David Miller will officiate the services. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637-3437
