Dorothy Benedict, 94 of Scottsdale passed away Saturday September 11, 2004. She was born July 10, 1910 in South Bend, Indiana. She married Victor Benedict on March 17, 1934 and moved soon thereafter from Indiana to San Francisco. Dorothy lived in the San Francisco area until 1996 when she moved to Scottsdale.
Survivors include her son Ned Benedict of Scottsdale, daughters Susan Palmer of Scottsdale and Kathleen Bay of Geneva, Illinois and seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren of whom she was very proud.
Services will be held in California later in the week. Memorial contributions may be made to Westminster Village Foundation and Assistance Fund, 12000 N. 90th St. Scottsdale, AZ 85260
