William E. Lee

SOUTH BEND - William E. Lee, 81, of Marco Island, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died about 11 a.m. Wednesday in his home.

Mr. Lee retired as president of C.E. Lee Co., and was a Realtor in Florida for 10 years. He was born March 13, 1910, in South Bend, where he lived until moving to Florida 15 years ago.

In 1930, he married Florence Daniels. She died in 1965. In 1966, in South Bend, he married Ruth Christman. She survives, with a sister, Dorothy Durand of Knoxville. Tenn.; and a brother, Edward J. of South Bend.

He was a graduate of DePauw University, Greencastle, Ind. He was former president of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity, member of South Bend Rotary Club, the former Indiana Club, and the South Bend Country Club. He was a veteran of World War II.

There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will take place. Jasberger Funeral Home, Marco Island, handled arrangements.
