Valentine J. Horvath

Valentine J. Horvath, 70, a retired senior tool designer for Detroit Diesel Allison Division of General Motors Corp., died Sunday in Methodist Hospital. A native of South Bend, he lived in Indianapolis 45 years. He worked for Allison Division 28 years, retiring in 1970. He was a member of  Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Riviera and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.

Services will be held at 9:30 Tuesday in FeeneyHornak Keystone Mortuary and at 10 a.m. in the church. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today in the mortuary.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marjorie Horvath, and two sons, Marc and Dennis Horvath.

Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
