Mary Louise (Gillmer) Guhse

Mrs. Mary L. Guhse, 70, of 22553 New Road, died at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday Memorial Hospital after a brief at illness. She was employed by Easy Heat-Wirecraft of Lakeville. Born on Sep 11,1910, in South Bend, she had lived in this area all her life.

On Oct. 6, 1934, in South Bend, she married Lowell E. Guhse, who died on May 9, 1976. She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Joyce Wallace of North Liberty and Mrs. Joan Wagner South Bend; three sons, Richard of San Jose, Calif., Robert of Corning, Iowa, and Raymond of Millersville, Md.; 12 grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Smith of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Maple Grove United Methodist Church. Rev. Tim Rhodes, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Palmer Memorial Chapel, Lakeville, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the church. She was a member of the church and the Teens Auxiliary. Memorial contributions may be made to the church
