Violette Marie (Elliott) Parker

SOUTH BEND - Violette Parker, 83, of New Port Richey, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died about 2 a.m. Friday in Richey Manor Nursing Home, New Port Richey, Mrs. Parker was a former organist, pianist and artist.

She was born Dec. 1, 1909, in South Bend and moved to Florida in 1973.

On June 16, 1929, in South Bend, as Violet Elliott, she married Weir Parker. He died Aug. 9, 1984.

She is survived by a brother, Emerson "Bud" Elliott Port Richey, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. She was a member the St. Joseph Valley Watercolor Society. Services were Monday in North Funeral Home, Holiday, Fla. Entombment in Grace Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Hudson, Fla.
