Helen Genevieve (Monahan) Worster

Helen Worster, 61, of 2405 Union Ave., died at 5:54 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Hospital after an illness of eight months. She was born Dec. 16, 1912. in South, Bend and was a lifetime resident of the area.

As Helen Monahan Hawblitzel on Oct. 31. 1959, in South Bend, she was married to Wayne Worster, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Paul W. Hawblitzel of Camarillo, Calif.: two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Denunzio and Mrs. Kathleen Arnold, both of South Bend; eight grandchildren; her mother. Mrs. Ann Monahan of South Bend; two brothers, Joseph of Westchester, Ill., and John of South Bend, and a sister. Mrs. John (Mary) Porowski of South Bend.

Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Hickey Funeral Home, 3516 E. Jefferson Blvd.. where arrangements are incomplete.

Mrs. Worster was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, a member of the Altar Society of the church. and the Women of the Moose Lodge. Memorials may be donated to the St. Joseph County Cancer Society.
