Alice Leighton McCabe
Private services for Alice Leigh- ton McCabe, 75, of Littleton, Colo., formerly of South Bend, who died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Mar 31, 1988, at Swedish Hospital, Englewood, Colo., will be conducted Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McCabe was born May 15, 1912, in South Bend, and moved to LaGrange, Ill., in 1955 and Littleton in 1987.
On Sept. 17, 1938, in South Bend, she married Claude P. McCabe. He died in 1968.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Crook of Littleton; a granddaughter, Julie L. Crook of Littleton; and two brothers, Judd C. Leighton of South Bend and Walter W. Leighton of Columbia, Mo.
