Louis A. Kasa, 60, of Rt. 2, Eau Claire, Mich., died at 12:30 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Hospital in South Bend after a 10- month illness. He was employed by the Bendix Corp. He was born Aug. 31, 1910 in South Bend. He had lived in Eau Claire the past 12 years coming from South Bend.

He married Esther Winther Jan. 30, 1932, in Valparaiso. She survives with two sons, Larry A. of Elkhart and James L. of Niles, a daughter, Mrs. Katheryn Geist of Bronte, Tex., grandchildren, and four brothers, George of Mishawaka, Frank and Joseph of South Bend, and Carl of Rancho Cordoba, Calif.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Welsheimer Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Rev. Walter Oberholtzer, pastor of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery.

He was a member of the Danish Brotherhood, the Turners and Bendix Local 9.
