Roland G. Johnston, 67, of Schaumburg, Ill., formerly of South Bend, died Thursday in Arlington Heights, Ill. He was an insurance broker for the Roland Johnson Insurdance Agency in Chicago.

He was born on Jan. 3, 1912, in South Bend.

Surviving are his wife, Evelyn; two sons, Craig of Arlington Heights and Curtis of Minnesota, and a sister, Odessa Murphy of South Bend.

Services were held today in Friederichs Funeral Home, Mt. Prospect, Ill. Burial was in Mt. Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst, Ill
