Earl Knight Gustin

Earl Knight Gustin, 51, of 1114 Goodland Ave., died at 6:40 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient since Tuesday. He was born on April 25, 1913 in Milwaukee. He had lived in South Bend for 47 years.

In 1936 in South Bend he was married to Helen L. Peltz, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Craig, at home and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl S. Gustin, of Clearwater, Fla.

He was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist, the Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend, and the Orak Shrine of Hammond. He was an employee of the Bendix Corp.

Friends may call after noon Monday at the Welsheimer Funeral Home, where services are incomplete.
