F. Lester Fogle

MISHAWAKA F. Lester Fogle, 82, of Sebring, Fla., formerly of Mishawaka, died Saturday in the Palms Healthcare Center, Sebring. Mr. Fogle and his wife, Martha, were missionaries for the First Baptist Church of Mishawaka for 40 years, serving in Africa and the Central African Republic.
He was born May 22, 1911, in Porter, Ind., and moved to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., in 1985. He is survived by his wife, Martha of Fort Lauderdale; two daughters, Lois J. Wilson of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Maribeth J. Peterson of Tacoma, Wash.; five, sons, Philip R. of St. Petersburg, Fla., Timothy J. and Thomas J., both of Des Moines, Iowa, Rev. Larry L. of Zambia, Africa, and Dale D. of Garland, Texas; 19 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Eleanor Bucher of South Bend.
He was a graduate of Mishawaka Missionary Seminary.
Services were conducted today in Maranatha Baptist Church, Sebring. Burial was to be in Pinecrest Cemetery, Sebring. Warren-Morris Funeral Home, Sebring, handled arrangements
