BRAINERD, ROBERT O., 66, of 487 86th Ave. N, died Saturday (July 1, 1978). Born in Iowa, he came here in 1963 from Fort Wayne, Ind. and was a retired sales administrator for General Telephone Directory Co. with 39 years of service.

Survivors include son James, Fort Wayne; two daughters, Susan Pittenger, Madison, Wis., and Julie Monahan, Rolling Meadow, Ill.; four sisters, Esther Carder and Zoe Headley of South Bend, Ind., Ruth C., Valparaiso, and Jane Zambelle, Dayton, Ohio, and eight grandchildren.
