Ruth (Ahlering) Adams

ADAMS, RUTH AHLERING Died in Sacramento on May 28, two weeks short of her 81st birthday, after a brief illness. She was born June 17, 1911 in Indianapolis, IN.
Her girlhood was spent in South Bend, IN in a home directly adjacent to the Notre Dame campus and her large family had close association with Knute Rockne and Notre Dame football during the era of the Four Horseman. She has resided in Sacramento since 1985 and in California since 1933.
For many years she ran the New Accounts Dept. at the Walston's Stockbrokerage office in Los Angeles.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Ralph Tracy Adams. Mrs. Adams was also preceded in death by four sisters and a brother.
Mrs. Adams is survived by three children and three grandchildren: Suan Munio, her daughter, David Munio, her son-in-law, John and Dan, her grandsons, all Verdes, of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA; Catherine Minicucci, her daughter, Paul Minicucci, her son-in-law, and Tracy, her granddaughter, all of Sacarmento; and Steven Tracy Adams, her son of Orangevale.
She is survived by her brother, Dr. Joseph J. Ahlering of Placentia, CA and by thirteen nephews, and nieces.
Mass will be held at St. Anthony's Church at 10:00 A.M. on June 1, 1992. A Rosary will be recited Sunday at 6:00 P.M. in the LAND PARK CHAPEL OF HARRY A. NAUMAN & SON, 4041 Freeport Blvd. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to support care for the terminally ill at Mercy Care, 862 39th st, Sacramento, CA 95816.
