E. Joan (Edgren) Flack

Word has been received that Joan Edgren Flack, 88, of Seal Beach, Calif., formerly of South Bend, died April 24 in Seal Beach. Cremation has taken place. Westwood Village Mortuary, Los Angeles, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 10546 W. Pico Blvd., Los Angeles, 90064.

Mrs. Flack was born Jan. 8, 1897, in South Bend, and lived in the New York City and Chicago areas for many years.

On June 18, 1924, in Chicago, as Joan Edgren, she married Gene Flack, who died in 1961.

She is survived by a daughter, June Flack of Pacific Palisades, Calif.; a son, John Flack of Clarkston, Mich.: and four grandchildren.

Mrs. Flack was a member PEO Chapter N in Bronxville, N.Y., and Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, Calif.
