Walter C. Rickert

SOUTH BEND - Walter C. Rickert, 86, of East Irvington Avenue, died at 8:15 p.m. Friday in his home. Mr. Rickert retired from the service department of Bendix Corp. in 1945 and was the owner of a resort in Minnesota. He was born Oct. 9, 1907. in Pierce County, N.D.. and lived in this area most of his life.

On Aug. 17. 1934, in South Bend, he married Alice I. Jameson. She survives with a daughter, Sharon Gushwa of Orlando, Fla.: two sons, Terry of South Bend and Robert of St. Paul. Minn.: seven grandchildren; four grandchildren: and a sister, Loretta Mariottini of South Bend.

He was a member of Richdale Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge 45 and Scottish Rite of St. Joseph Valley.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in St. Jo seph Memorial Park. Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, where Masonic c Lodge 45 will conduct services at 7 p.m
