Lucille M. (March) Jankowski

SOUTH BEND - Lucille M. Jankowski, 82, of 25575 Peach Trail, died at 7:48 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mrs. Jankowski was born July 27, 1908, in East Chicago, Ind., and spent most of her life in the South Bend area.

On Oct. 30, 1927, in Buchanan, as Lucille March, she married Frank W. Jankowski, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mary T. Hunt of Granger; three sons, Robert E., Richard A. and John of South Bend; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two sisters, Genevieve Dunbar of Buchanan and Mary Kroell of New York; and three brothers, Stanley March of Dearborn, Mich., Joseph March of Ann Arbor and John March of Buchanan.

She was a member of Holy Cross Legion of Mary, Elizabethan Ladies Knights of Columbus Council, and Holy Family Altar and Rosary Society.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of Holy Cross Catholic Charity.
