Marian Alice (Archambeault) Steele

Marian Alice Steele, 63, of 1628. Hilltop Dr., died at 11:35 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Hospital after a year's illness. She was born on April 10, 1908, in South Bend and had lived in South Bend all her life.

On Aug. 20, 1930, in South Bend, she was married to George W. Steele, who survives.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Sunday in the Forest G. Hay and Son Funeral Home, where services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, Rev. Forest W. Howell, pastor of the Grace United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.

Mrs. Steele was a member of Iota Chapter, Beta Chi Sorority
