Alice M. (Zentz) Joers

Dec. 10, 1918 – June 27, 2003

Alice M. Joers, 84, formerly of North St. Louis Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away Friday, June 27, in Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Dec.10, 1918, in South Bend, to Perry L.and Julia (Beriault) Zentz.

On June 21, 1941, she married Roy Joers, who died in 1990.

She is survived by her two daughters, Sue Teigland of South Bend and Patricia and Robert Milach of Niles, Ill.;and by a granddaughter, Linda Teigland.

Mrs.Joers retired as a bookkeeper for the University of Notre Dame.She was a member of Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m.Tuesday, July 1, in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N.William St., and burial will be at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home one hour prior to services. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice
