William Jennings Toth

Word has reached here of the death of former South Bend resident William Jennings Toth, 62, of Evanston, Ill. Jennings died Wednesday in Evanston following an unexpected illness. He was a U.S. Customs import-export specialist and had been in government services for 30 years.
He is survived by his widow, Dorothy of Evanston; a daughter, Linda Toth Graham, of New York. N. Y.; a son, William, of Los Angeles. Calif., and a brother, George C. Toth of South Bend.
He was a graduate of Hillsdale College in Michigan and had served in World War II as a Marine staff sergeant stationed in the South Pacific.
Services for Mr. Toth were scheduled for today in Evanston
