M. Roberta (Sweany) Loveland

Roberta Loveland, 62, of the Karl King Tower, 515 E. Monroe, died Wednesday at St. Joseph's Medical Center after a brief illness. She was manager of the Blackwood Apartments for 20 years. Born on Feb. 15, 1919, in Rochester, Ind., she had lived here for 26 years after coming from Nashville, Tenn.

On Aug. 18, 1942, as Roberta Sweaney, she married Glen Loveland in Greenville, S.C. He survives, along with two sons, Michael Roy of Long Beach, Calif., and Steven S. of LaGrange County; and a grandchild.

There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will be in Riverview Crematory. The Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
