Arthur Joseph Niedbalski, 522 N. Johnson St.. died at 1 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph Hospital. He was born here Dec. 5, 1914, and lived here alt his life. He was employed by Bendix Products Division, Bendix Aviation Corp

On Aug. 17, 1940, he married Gertrude Witkowski who survives. Also surviving are a son, Arthur J., and a daughter, Miss Mary Anne, both at home; his mother, Mrs. Lottie Niedbalski; three brothers, Alex, Clement and Chester, and a sister, Mrs. Hildegarde Barczykowski, all of South Bend.

Friends may call after 7-p.m. today in the Kaniewski & Son Funeral services will be held at 10. a.m. Tuesday in St. Stanislaus' Catholic Church, Rev. Casimir Grabarz, C.S.C., assistant pastor and cousin of the deceased; officiating. Burial be in St. Joseph Polish Cemetery.

Mr. Niedbalski was a member of St. Stanislaus School Guild; the Holy Name Society, M. R. Falcons; Z. B. Falcon Conservation Club; Loyal Order of Moose; Bendix Supervisors Club; Bendix Old Timers Club; National Assn. of Foremen and YMCA. He was a former South Bend Central High School football star and attended Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill. He was a veteran of World War II.

Members of the St. Stanislaus Parish Boy Scout Troop 470 will recite the rosary, at 7:30 p.m. today and every evening through Monday in the funeral home
