Thomas McNeff

Thomas McNeff, 63, of 552 W. 14th, who operated the former McLaughlin Paint and Wallpaper store for 36 years before retiring last year, died about 9:50 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend. He had been ill for some time.
He was born on Dec. 5, 1918, in South Bend, and had spent his lifetime in his area. On Dec. 27, 1943, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, he married Dorothy McLaughlin, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. John (Nancy) Nicolini of Mishawaka, Mrs. Patrick (Kathleen) Hoban of South Bend and Ms. Mary F. McNeff, at home: and eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Church, with Rev. Kenneth Sarrazine, pastor, officiating.' Buria) will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home where a wake service will be conducted at 8:30 p.m. He was a member of St. Joseph's parish, the Ushers Club of the chrch, the Mishawaka Exchanhe Club, the Knights of Columbus Mishawaka Council 1878 and the Ancient Order of Hibernians. He was a veteran of World War II
