Margaret Rose Krienke

Margaret R. Krienke, of South Bend, passed away at 11:45 a.m. Thursday April 21, 2005 in Holy Cross Care and Rehabitation Center where she had been a resident for six years. She was born Feb. 25, 1919 in South Bend to Herman and Louise (Tavernier) Krienke who preceded her in death along with three brothers, Eldon, Henry and Karl Krienke.
Margaret is survived by 4 nephews, Paul Krienke of Spring Valley, CA., Loren Krienke of San Diego, CA., Merwyn Krienke of Phoenix, AZ., and Arvid Krienke of Elkhart, IN.
Margaret was a sweet and caring person and was loved by all who knew her. She went out of her way to help everyone. She will be missed by all and will never be forgotten. Margaret was a longtime member of Zion United Church of Christ in South Bend, IN.
In 1937 she graduated from South Bend Central High School and had lived in South Bend all her life. She retired from Bendix Corporation. Margaret was a member of Helena Rebekah Lodge # 72 and the Mothers of World War II unit #128
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Monday April 25, 2005, in the Palmer Funeral Home, River-Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Rev. David Sickelka, Pastor of Zion United Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
