Berl L. Knepper, 58, of Boca Raton, Fla, formerly of South Bend, died Sunday in Boca Raton Hospital, apparently of a heart condition.
He was born on March 12, 1919, in Bremen and lived in the South Bend area from 1929 to 1948. He was employed by the Bendix Corp in South Bend.
He married Shirley Kellogg, who survives, along with a son, Jack of Boca Raton, and three brothers, Paul of St. Joseph, Mo., Boyd of Beaver Dam, Wis., and Gerald of South Bend.
The body will be cremated. Services were to be today in Boca Raton.
