Donald D. Jarvis, 50, died at 8:30 Thursday in Memorial Hospital after an illness of several months. He was born June 1, 1918, in Attica, Ind.

On Dec. 17, 1955, he married Luella B. Hall, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Hazel Jarvis of South Bend; two sons,  Terry D. of Laramie, Wyo., and George A., a student at Ball State University, Muncie, Ind.; three daughters, Mrs. Linda L. Snorek of Addison, Ill., Mrs. Karen L. Elliott of South Bend and Miss Penny L. Flatt, a student at Ball State University; three grandchildren; one brother, C.D. Jarvis of Park Ridge, Ill.; and one sister, Helen Kehr of Osceola.

He was general manager of Feferman Motor Sales Corp., where he had been employed for 21 years.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Emory C. Burton officiating. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Forest G. Hay and Son Funeral Home and from noon until the time of the service at the church.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church; South Bend Lodge 294, F&AM; Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend; Avalon Grotto; St. Joseph's Chapter 569, Order of Eastern Star; the Elks; the Eagles; Polish National Alliance; Fraternal Order of Police; and the Shoe and Slipper Dancing Club.

Graveside services will be conducted by the Elks
