Evelyn Hinkson Mikelson, 67, of Lake Placid died Thursday. She was born in Warsaw, Ind., and came to this area four years ago.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Lake Placid, Placid Lakes Golf and Country Club, Placid Lakes Ladies Golf League and American Contract Bridge League.
She is survived by her husband, Mike; a son, David of Marco Island; a daughter, Aldrene Mautz of Riverview, Mich.; four sisters, Dolly Klimishio of South Bend, Ind., Carrie Stubelt of Scottsdale, Ariz., Blanche Barr of Phoenix, Aris., and Ethel Greenwell of Lebanon, Ill.; a brother, Mahlon Hinkson of Madison, Wis.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Belcher Lake Placid Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
