William L. Harmon

William L. Harmon, 64, of 1564 Rosemary Lane, died at 7:25 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, after a brief illness. He was born Dec. 5, 1918, in South Bend and was a lifetime area resident.

His wife, Sarah Glenn Harmon, survives along with two sons, Kirk Glenn Harmon of Fort Wayne and William Vincent Harmon of South Bend, and three grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William, with Rev. Harry D. Collier, pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church, officiating. Cremation will take place at Michiana Crematory. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County Heart Association
