HIGHLAND James J. Curran, age 87, of Highland, passed away Friday, February 25, 2005. He is survived by his daughter Sandra Curran of Highland; brother, Paul (Clarice) Curran of South Bend; sister, Margaret "Tootie" (Robert) Nemeth of South Bend; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy and son, Thomas.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at 10 o'clock at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 2828 Highway Avenue, Highland, with a Funeral Mass at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Grace Church with Rev. Edward Moszur officiating. Friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Jim was a past President of the Kiwanis Club and will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched. Donations to the Hospice of the Calumet Area would be appreciated.
