G.H. "Greg" Cousins

G.H. "Greg" Cousins, 68, of Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Mishawaka, died at 1 a.m. Saturday in Lee Memorial Hospital, Fort Myers, after an illness of several years. He was the founder of Burcliff Industries Inc., an electrical supply firm, in 1950, serving as president and later chairman of the board until his illness. Born April 24, 1918, in Toledo, Ohio, he lived in this area most of his life.
On Oct. 19, 1940, in Mishawaka, he married the former Dorothy Ann Spear, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Patricia Ann Vanover of Granger; two sons, Graham Hugh "Greg" Jr. of Elkhart and Michael Jon of Shreve, Ohio; and eight grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Presbyterian Church, Mishawaka. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. There will be no visitation, but the family will receive friends in the church after services. Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Cousins was a member of First Presbyterian Church, F & AM Lodge 130, Elks Lodge 235, Engineering Club, in South Bend, Cypress Lakes Country Club in Fort Myers, Fla., Royal Palm Yacht Club in Florida and Highland Falls Country Club in Highland Falls, N.C.
