DOWAGIAC - Eugene Lee Burrows, 74, of 50667 Maple Island Road, died of natural causes at 1 a.m. Wednesday in his home. Mr. Burrows was a retired supervisor from the tabulating department of Bendix Corp., South Bend, where he worked for 50 years.

He was born March 29, 1917, in Kokomo, Ind. On Aug. 30, 1941, in Mishawaka, he married Godlieve M. Boenne. She survives with a sister, Betty Gould of California.

Mr. Burrows was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Elks, Dowagiac Conservation Club, Sister Lakes chapter of the American Association of Retired Persons, National Rifle Association and American Legion Post 357, South Bend.

There will be no services or visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sister Lakes Fire Department.

Groner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
