Richard W. Boits

Richard W. Boits, 1001 E. Wayne St., died at 2 a.m. today in St. Joseph Hospital. He had been ill since October. He was born in South Bend on Feb. 6, 1918.

He married Margaret Flack June 6, 1940. She survives along with a daughter, Barbara, and two sons, Robert and Michael, all at home; a brother, Walter J. Boits Jr.; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Orban; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Boits Sr., all of South Bend.

Mr. Boits was a salesman for the Sears Roebuck Co. He was a member of Moose Lodge 58 and St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Hickey Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Church with Rev. Thomas F. Peyton, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. The rosary will be recited at. 8. p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home
