Margaret Vivian (Bickel) Cornwell

Feb 21, 1918 - May 2, 1987

Margaret V. Cornwell, 69, of 622 S. 31st St., died at 6 a.m. Wednesday in her home after an illness. Mrs. Cornwell was born Feb. 21, 1918, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. 

As Margaret Bickel, in South Bend, she married Clarence Cornwell in 1939. He died Feb. 1, 1982.

She is survived by a son, Jerry of Indianapolis; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ramona Silvey of Santa Ana, Calif.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Drive. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home
