Viola Janet (Beane) Wyant

Viola B. Wyant, 81, of The Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of Pear Road in South Bend, Ind., passed away on Monday, Jan. 10, in Cardinal Nursing Home.
Mrs. Wyant was born on Jan. 2, 1919, in South Bend, to the late Charles and Mary E. (Dodd) Beane. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Helen Blume; and by a brother, Floyd Beane.
She retired from the former Bendix Corporation in the Energy Controls Accounting Department after 41 years of service, and had been a member of the Bendix Women's Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol L. Wyant of South Bend; a niece, Sherry Blume; a nephew, Thomas Blume; and a great-nephew, Craig Blume, all of Edwardsburg, Mich.
Private burial will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Three Oaks, Mich. The Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, is in charge of arrangements.
