William R Wright Jr.
Lieut. Wright, who was previously reported missing, was killed in action in southern France March 11, according to department telegram to wife, hire Margaret, who lives at 706 South Eddy street. A co-pilot of a Liberator bomber, he had served overseas since December, 1943. Lieut. Central Wright was graduated from high school in 1935 and studied two years at Wabash college, Crawfordsville, Ind., and a year at the University of Notre Dame.
He was employed by the Bendix Aviation corporation before enlisting as an aviation cadet June 1, 1942. In August, 1943, he received his commission in Altus, Okla.
