MICHIGAN CITY - Kenneth O. Wilson, 71, of 3002 Oakwood Ave., died at 1:20 p.m. Saturday in Meridian Nursing Center-Woodview.
Mr. Wilson was a retired electrician employed by Local 531 for 48 years.
He was born June 4, 1916, in Wyatt. On Aug. 7, 1937, in Walkerton, he married Gene Cline, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Linda Mills of Michigan City; sons, John and William, both of Michigan City; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, James Wilson of Lake Wales, Fla.
He was a former president of the LaPorte County Building Trades Association and a World War II Army veteran.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Carlisle Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, where John Franklin Miller American Legion Post 37, of which he was a member, will conduct full military rites. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday and until services Tuesday in the funeral home, where Post 37 will conduct a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
