James L. Wiley

James L. Wiley, 49, of 2403 Inglewood Ct., was dead on arrival at 10:45 p.m. Monday at Memorial Hospital after suffering a heart attack. He was an employee of the Bendix Corp.

Born on Oct. 29, 1916, in South Bend, he had lived here all of his life.

On Sept. 28, 1957, in South Bend, he married Joan Barber, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Louis Wiley, and a daughter, Mrs. Paul Bartozek, both of South Bend and a sister, Mrs. James Reeves of San Diego, Calif.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Orvis Funeral Horne, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Lester Bill, associate pastor of First Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
